How to configure Anova precision cooker auto shut off

The Anova precision cooker is an upgrade from the previous models from the brand thanks to the inclusion of Wi-Fi.  Once you buy the cooker all you need to do is to download the app on the phone, and the device will connect to the home Wi-Fi without the need for a password.

If you want to operate it manually, there is a wheel below the interface that users can use to set the temperature and timer. You should press the start/stop button and you are good to go. If the water level on your cooker is too low you will get a beeping sound. You will also receive the same beeping sound when the set temperature is reached.

The app does an incredible job at controlling three important functions; time, Start & Stop, and temperature. Configuring the Anova precision cooker auto-shutoff feature isn’t difficult.

This is how you configure the auto shut-off feature.

  3. Use the scroll wheel to set the time
  4. Press down the “Timer” button to start the timer
  5. Hold the “Play” button for three seconds to get it back to C.
